Fast Talkie is a part of our app that allows you to send a PTT using the PTT Button. Without Fast Talkie, you might encounter issues when sending voice messages through the VoicePing App.
Sending PTT when the screen is off / locked
With the Fast Talkie, you will be able to send a PTT message when the screen is off or locked, you will even be able to change the active channel.
Fast Talkie Accesibility
In some cases, the Fast Talkie Accesibility is turned off by the user accidentally. It will cause the Fast Talkie not working properly.
Whenever you have issue with the PTT button, pleas check the following:
1. Open Settings.
2. Choose Accesibillity.
3. Choose Fast Talkie.
4. Ensure the toogle is "ON". Please turn "ON" if it is OFF previously.
Fast Talkie Configuration (for Advance User)
Fast Talkie also can be configured as per your requirement. Please note, this configuration is for advanced users only, misconfigure on it will cause the PTT button not working or even the system error.
1. Fast Talkie Toggle: turn ON or OFF the Fast Talkie service.
2. Pro Feature: To configure the Fast Talkie (advanced users only).
3. PTT Button: To assign the PTT button, to a hardware button on the device.
4. Next Channel: To assign the Next Channel button, to a hardware button on the device.
5. Previous Channel: To assign the Previous Channel button, to a hardware button on the device.
6. PTT Only when screen ON: To set the PTT button to work only when the screen is ON.
7. Enable the Fast Talkie Lock screen: To turn ON/OFF the Fast Talkie Lock screen, we recommend leaving this ON as it will prevent a missed tap on the phone screen when the phone is inside the pocket. Please proceed as your requirements.
